Hi Thom sorry but I’ll be playing Merlefest that evening. Scott
Scott, I see you are teaching at Peach Bottom this June. I want to register my son, but am trying to get in touch with somebody to see first if it’s an appropriate camp for a kid. Meaning, are there any other kids or will he be way out of his league? He’s 9, an intermediate/advanced Suzuki player with some Irish experience too. Would love for him to get some non-suzuki experience too, and maybe have some fun with his “fiddle” this summer. nikki
Hi Nikki we have all ages and wonderful teachers.one of my favorite fiddlers in the world will be there Matt Combs.Matt like many of the teachers at the camp have formal training but play a wide variety of styles.
Hi Scott,
My wife (Dr. Lucy) and myself (Capt’n Gene) have signed up for the Peach Bottom Farm, Fiddle and Strings starting June 10-14. Lucy has signed up for fiddle classes and I have signed up for mandolin classes. I play a few songs on the mandolin and keep rhythm to most songs (bluegrass/country). We are looking forward to a wonderful time learning in class as well as jamming.. If there is anything I should do before we come to the event please let me know. Have a great day I am… Keep the rudder side down, Capt’n Gene
looking forward to being with you guys, see you in a few weeks. Thanks Scott
